1. Seller Information
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the website veniceflanerie.it (“Website”), operated by:

By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms in full.
2. Products
2.1 Physical product
Venice Flânerie sells Mist & Marble — A Venetian Tarot Deck, a limited-edition set comprising 78 playing cards (6×9 cm, matte finish), a premium matte tuck box with gold foil details, and a collector’s lid-and-bottom outer box.
2.2 Digital content
Each physical order includes access to digital content via a QR code printed inside the packaging: The Digital Guidebook (a complete narrative guide to the Arcana) and The Hidden Places Map (a geo-localised itinerary of Venice). Digital content is an accessory to the physical product and is not sold separately.
3. Pre-Orders
Products offered as “Pre-Order” are not yet available for immediate dispatch. By placing a pre-order you accept that:
- The estimated dispatch date is the first half of July. This date is indicative and subject to change.
- Payment is collected in full at the time of order.
- In the event of a delay exceeding 30 days beyond the estimated date, you will be notified and may cancel your order for a full refund.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Prices
All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and are inclusive of applicable Italian VAT. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation.
4.2 Accepted payment methods
- Credit / debit card — via Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant; no card data is processed or stored on our servers).
- PayPal — payment processed through your PayPal account.
- Bank transfer — order is confirmed only upon receipt of cleared funds; IBAN details are provided at checkout. Orders unpaid within 5 business days may be cancelled.
A confirmation email is sent automatically once payment has been received.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Carrier and tracking
Orders are shipped worldwide via Poste Italiane tracked service. A tracking number is emailed upon dispatch.
5.2 In-store pickup
Free in-store pickup is available in Venice. Select this option at checkout; you will be notified when the order is ready for collection.
5.3 Customs and import duties
For shipments outside the European Union (including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Japan, and Australia), any customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Venice Flânerie is not responsible for delays, holds, or seizures by customs authorities.
5.4 Estimated transit times (after dispatch)
- Italy: 3–5 business days
- European Union: 5–10 business days
- Rest of the world: 10–20 business days
Transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Venice Flânerie accepts no liability for carrier delays.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
6.1 Physical product
EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the physical product, without giving any reason, provided that the product remains perfectly sealed in its original cellophane wrapping, unopened and unused. If the sealed wrapping has been broken, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
To exercise this right, send an email to info@veniceflanerie.it before the 14-day period expires, stating your intention to withdraw and your order number. Return shipping costs are entirely at the buyer’s expense. A full refund of the product price (excluding original shipping costs) will be issued within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
6.2 Digital content
In accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content (the QR-linked guidebook and map) once the consumer has consented to its immediate delivery and acknowledged the consequent loss of the right of withdrawal. By completing your purchase, you provide such consent and acknowledgement.
7. Shipping Damage
If the outer packaging arrives visibly damaged:
- Accept the package signing “with reservation” with the courier.
- Contact us at info@veniceflanerie.it within 48 hours of delivery, attaching photographic evidence of the unopened parcel and outer packaging.
Failure to follow this procedure may affect your ability to make a claim against the carrier.
8. Legal Warranty
The physical product is covered by the 24-month legal warranty against conformity defects, as provided by Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) and EU Directive 2019/771. To make a warranty claim, contact info@veniceflanerie.it with proof of purchase and a description of the defect.
9. Intellectual Property
All content published on the Website and included with the product — including but not limited to card artwork, illustrations, texts, the Digital Guidebook, and the Hidden Places Map — is the exclusive property of Venice Flânerie and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
10. Disclaimer
The Mist & Marble tarot deck is an autonomous work of art created for narrative, historical, and cultural exploration. It is sold exclusively for entertainment and artistic purposes. Venice Flânerie and its creators accept no liability for any interpretation or use of the cards for esoteric, divinatory, predictive, psychological, or therapeutic purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
Venice Flânerie shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product or the Website.
- Delays or failures in delivery caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, or disruptions to postal or customs services.
- Slight variations in colour, texture, or finish between product photographs (taken from a prototype) and the final product.
In any case, Venice Flânerie’s maximum liability shall not exceed the price paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
12. Privacy
Personal data provided during the purchase process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the Website, and in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
13. Online Dispute Resolution
In accordance with EU Regulation 524/2013, EU consumers may submit complaints through the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform operated by the European Commission:

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Venice, Italy.
Notwithstanding the above, EU consumers retain the right to invoke the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence where those provisions afford greater protection than Italian law.
15. Amendments
Venice Flânerie reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the Website with a revised effective date. Amendments do not affect purchases completed prior to publication.
